Professional Experience

Serve as Real Estate Broker for start-up Commercial brokerage with local, regional, and national clients.

Full responsibility for all bottom-line factors, including company vision, long-range strategic planning, global product management, and real estate sales and service. Negotiate individually and collectively with potential buyers, sellers, contractors, property owners, legal and government officials, attorneys, and mortgage lenders. Direct all operations, oversee major pricing decisions, and perform monthly financial evaluation of company results. Provide cross-functional management and direct staff in all business activities.

Founded and managed, for 16+ years, an established Realtor’s highly successful Commercial Division.

Directed regional and local sales and marketing for the department, the first commercial division for a full-service residential real estate company in the area. Spearheaded vision, strategy, and execution of commercial operations. Developed and implemented strategic marketing plans, established marketing and sales objectives, and prepared division-wide sales forecasts. Directed project teams through due-diligence, prioritization, and development. Participated in research and development of new client base. As licensed real estate agent, obtained broker’s license in 1994.

 

Key Achievements:

Ø      Sold properties valued at tens of millions of dollars per year, averaging over the last 10 years in the range of $30 million to $40 million per year.

Ø      Led site selection for Northwest Medical Bureau (Regence Blue Shield) for eventual construction of 100,000 square feet in 1998.

Ø      Selected Broker of the Year by the Washington State Chapter of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institution (CIREI), 1998.

Ø      Represented City of Burlington (WA) during acquisition of 100 acres from National Frozen Foods, worth $2.4 million and requiring 12 months of negotiations and two appraisals, 1997.

Ø      Co-authored articles and consistently quoted in regional newspapers, business magazines, and journals.

Ø      Awarded CCIM designation in 1995 and SIOR in 1996.
